Ada Sue Shannon

Mrs. Ada Sue Shannon of Sunbright, passed away Wednesday November 27, 2024 at Morgan County Life Care in Wartburg. She retired from Sunbright School where she served as secretary for 34 years. Ada Sue was also a member of Mt. Zion Church – Mill Creek. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Shannon; and daughter, Sharon Shannon Sexton.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Bill Frederick of Muncie, IN; son-in-law, Paul Sexton; granddaughter, Delisa Phillips; great-grandsons: Xavier Phillips and Jaden Chambers; niece, Donna (Jason) Cray; nephew, Stacy Frederick; and great nephew, Michael Cray.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 2, 2024 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Charles Webb officiating.  Interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery in Sunbright.
