April Hooks

April I. Gurly Hooks, wife of Donald E. Hooks, went to be with her Heavenly Father, January 11, 2012. April served with her husband 32 years, starting two Independent Baptist Churches, One in Tennessee and one in Old Mexico. April was a great wife, mother and Grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She was a member of the Harriman Baptist Tabernacle in Harriman, TN.

Mrs. Hooks leaves a son; Donald Allen Hooks and wife Teresa, a daughter; Sandra LaDonna Shady and husband Art and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday January 14, 2012 from 12:00p.m. until 2:00p.m. at Harriman Baptist Tabernacle in Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 2:00p.m. with Reverend James Jones officiating. Interment will be in the Lane Cemetery, Wartburg.
