Archie Swint

Archie Lee Swint, age 78 passed away at his home in Wartburg, Tuesday, May 10, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Jean Swint; parents, Archie and Gertie Swint; brothers, Wendell and Lynn Allen Swint; mother-in-law, Anna (Granny Mae) Stringfield, daughter-in-law, Norma Gail Swint; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Arnold Hamby, Roy Stringfield, Paul Melton and Peggy Nitzschke, father-in-law; Papaw Pearl Stringfield.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Hoss) Swint, Tony Swint; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Teddy Bales and daughter, Andrea McDaniel; grandkids, Dwayne and Tara Bales, Brandon and Ashley Swint and Tony (Toehead) and Kristie Swint; great grandkids, Brynden and Kenna Bales, Abby and Eli Swint, Tyler and Ivory Swint and Jonathan and Joshua Laymance; brothers, Tom and Vickie Swint, Jack and Donna Swint; sisters, Ruby Hamby, Charlene and Arlie Gregg, Francine and John A. Jones, Judy and Lawrence Griffith, Lois and Jerry Hamby, Leila and Charlie Settles and Mary Davis; sisters-in-laws, Pam and Eva Swint and Patsy Melton; he is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and other friends and family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00PM with Bro. Buster Armes and Bro. Freddy Melton officiating. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Annadale Cemetery.
