Arnold "AJ" Armes, of Kingston, TN

“AJ” Armes, 72, passed away at his home in Kingston, TN on February 11, 2020 after a long illness. He was a retired, over the road, truck driver.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, Arnold and Mildred Armes and brother, Micky Armes.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Armes; his daughter, Shannon (Jonathan) Thompson; stepson, Brian (Bridget) Goad; 5 grandchildren that he loves very much; brothers, Otis (Rhonda), Reuben (Rita), Randal (Betty), Ellis (Sharon); sisters, Mary (Roger) Nelson and Evelyn Freytag Price; sisters-in-law, Renita Armes and Brenda Houston; brother-in-law, Raymond (Marilyn) Patton; special niece and nephew, Melissa Painter and Robert Houston, along with a host of nieces and nephews that loved him very much.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 14, 2020 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Russell Jones officiating. The family will have a private graveside service.
