Benny Wicks

Benny Robin Wicks age 65 passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015. He was born June 3, 1950. He attended Wartburg Central Elementary and High School where he graduated. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Wartburg where he and his siblings were saved and Baptized into the church and went there as a child until he was grown. Benny was a fine Christian man. He was preceded in death by his parents; John (Jabo) and Jewell Harris Wicks and infant sister, Peggy; both sets of grandparents, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and old Friends.
He is survived by one brother: Ted and Jennifer Wicks of Tavares, Florida
Sisters: Nancy Taylor and Karen Redmon, Fruitland Park, FL, Teresa and Terry Greene and Patsy McKinney of Wartburg. Several Nieces and Nephews
Best Friend; David Edgen, Spokane, Washington

The family will receive friends Friday, October 9, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:00PM with Bro. Johnny Nix officiating. Graveside Services will be Saturday at 11:00AM in the Montgomery Cemetery.
