Bobby Sexton

Mrs. Bobby Lois Sexton, age 79 of Sunbright went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2013. Mrs. Sexton was an active member of Sunbright First Baptist Church. She attended Carson Newman College and graduated from the University of Tennessee of Knoxville. She received her Master's Degree from Tennessee Technological University. Mrs. Sexton was a beloved Sunbright School teacher for 40 years. Mrs. Sexton was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society.

Mrs. Sexton was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Minnie Young Matthews, brother, Jack Matthews , sister, Wilma Cotton and twin sister, Billy Starr.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Sexton of 58 years,
Sons, H.D. Sexton and Anne of Lenoir City and Matthew Sexton and Lisa of Sunbright
Granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah Sexton
Brother-in-law, Andy Starr and Kathy of Burrville
Nephews, Roger, Jack and Dennis Matthews, and Andrew Starr
Nieces, Dana Brown and Kim Matthews and their families
She is also survived by her beloved Cha-Cha

Mrs. Sexton enjoyed making flowers and especially loved all Sports.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Schubert Funeral Home Sunbright. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 pm with Bro. Frank Kirby officiating. Graveside Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Burrville.
