Brenda Sue Brown

Brenda Brown, age 70, passed away July 11, 2026, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Brenda was a very kind, loving lady whose world revolved around her grandchildren. She was a very talented painter and enjoyed art, birds, and flower gardening.

Shes preceded in death by her son Robert Brown, Jr.; parents Floyd and Alline Morgan; sister Nola Morgan; cousin Gayle Shoemaker.

She is survived by her children, Samantha Shoemaker and Bobbie Joe Osborne; grandchildren Robert Swisher, DJ Swisher, Devan Swisher, Madison Osborne, Jayden Simpson, Russell Simpson, III., Gunnar Simpson and Declan Simpson; 2 great granddaughters Charlie and Lyla Jayne; sisters Bonnie Brown, Wilma Workman, Ruby Gilreath; son-in-law Tim Osborne; boyfriend Frankie Shoemaker and a host of nieces, nephews, extended friends and family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Schubert Funeral Home from 5:00-6:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Mike Hammonds officiating.
