Brenda Copeland

Brenda Lou (Atkinson) Copeland, age 72, formerly of Mossy Grove passed away Monday, March 6, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Copeland; parents, John Wesley and Ella (Westfelt) Atkinson; grandson, Bryson Hawn and several siblings.

She is survived by her children, Edwina Kawamura, Gregory Copeland and wife Buffy, Bryon Copeland and wife Crystal, James “JJ” Copeland and wife Melissa.

11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren

and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Tommy Baldwin officiating. Interment to follow in the Caney Branch Church Cemetery, Lancing.
