Burke Adkins

Mr. Burke Adkins, age 91 of Deer Lodge passed away Wednesday June 2, 2010
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, served during W.W. II , a purple heart recipient and also a member the Deer Lodge Congregational Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Alene Lavender Adkins,
son; Dennis Adkins,
Sisters; Jenny Hall and Ova Jones,
Brothers; Joe, Kenneth and Luther Adkins.

He is survived by two daughters; Leta Ammerman and husband Harry of
Kingston, TN
Robin Norris and husband Keven of Jamestown, TN,
4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday evening, June 4, 2010 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 6-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will follow with Rev. Rose Hermonat officiating.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 , 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Hope Cemetery Deer Lodge, TN with Military Honors.
