Carl Wilson

Carl Edward Wilson age 85 of the Stephens Community went to be with Jesus, March 26, 2016. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was retired and a dedicated member of Big Mountain Church. He loved his family, church family and friends and he welcomed everyone with open arms and a smile when they came to visit him. Carl is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Wilma Boyd Wilson; his parents, Cynthia and Linard Wilson; many brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Sylvester (Mann) Hall.

He is survived by 5 children, Geraldine Hall, Eddie Wilson (Becky), Renea Wilson McMahan(David), Troy Wilson and Kim Wilson Duncan(Jody) ; 5 grandchildren, Jason Hall, Jeremy Hall and wife Julie, Jacob Wilson, Jessica Wilson and Jerika McMahan; 3 great grandchildren, Michael Hall, Tyler Hall and Jordan Hall;
Brother; Cliff Wilson,several nieces and nephews and special friends, Bob and Kathleen Yarber, Gregg Overton and Dewey Brown.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Big Mountain Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00PM with Bro. Gregg Overton and Bro. Dewey Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Stephens Cemetery in the Stephens Community.
