Carl D. Settles, of Wartburg, TN

Carl Settles passed away May 29, 2017 at U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

He is survived by his 2 daughters, Teresa Settles and Debbie (Tom) Roberts; 2 sons, Tom (Karen) Settles and Darren (Lou Ann) Settles; 10 grandchildren, Bobby Rose, Tara Miller, Kacey Kersting, Jessica Roberts, Tommy Settles Jr., Tonya Parish, Tyler Settles, Alan Dilbeck, Jeremy Settles and Ashley Armes; 12 great-grandchildren, Nathan, Logan, Annika, Hayden, Lilah, Norah, Nicholas, Cayde, Zoe, Erica, Caleb and Cannon; brothers, Lawrence Settles and Charles Settles. A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June1, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Friday, June 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Union Cemetery in Joyner.
