Charles McCormick, 94 of Lancing went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 11, 2016. On Wednesday, January 13, 2016 his wife Marcia McCormick joined him in Heaven. They were both members of The Church of God of Prophecy, Sunbright. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace McCormick, three brothers, August, George and Rev. John McCormick, She was preceded by her parents, Jacob and Sadelia Goddard and they were also preceded by a daughter, Judy McCormick
They are survived by two sons, Odis McCormick and John McCormick and wife Michelle; daughter, Patricia Harmon; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; Charles' brother and three sisters, Christopher McCormick (Pauline); three sisters, Juanita McCormick, Geneva Potter (Russell) and Helena Nelson (Bob); several nieces and nephews and a beloved special pet "Angel".
The family will receive friends Friday, January 15, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. A graveside service will follow with Bro. Jerry Robbins officiating at Potters Chapel Cemetery, Lancing, TN.
