Charles Rich, formerly of Morgan County, TN

Charles LeRoy Rich, age 59, of Colbert, OK, passed away peacefully, with his family near, on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX.  Charles was born on May 5, 1962 in Harriman, TN to Charles Caroll & Marjorie Freytag Rich.  He was a graduate of Sunbright, TN and days after his graduation he enlisted into the US Marine Corps and served his country from 1980- 1987. In  1993 he met Mary Manery and a year later, on September 16, 1994, they were united in marriage.  He then worked in security as a guard.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Mary Rich of Colbert, OK, his children; Charles Leroy Rich JR & Carolynn of Colbert, OK, Samantha Rich of Colbert, OK, Faith Rich of Calera, OK, Kyle Rich & Harlei of Colbert, OK, his three sisters; Angela Rich of Murfreesboro, TN, April Vincent of Sunbright, TN, Norma Disney of TN, his four grandchildren; Markus, Maekynzi, Lincoln & Parker, other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles & Marjorie Rich and his sister; Twyla Bunch.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021, 4:00 p.m. at Coleman Avenue Church of Christ, Colbert, OK with Brother Richard Gage officiating.  A family and friends visitation will be held one hour prior, 3:00 p.m., to the service.
