Charlie Solock

Mr. Charlie Solock, age 87, of Wartburg, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010, Life Care Center, Wartburg, Tn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, having served in Irma Jima, in W.W.II. He worked for C.C.C., T.V.A. and retired from Roane Electric. He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Solock; Brothers: John, Mike, Pete, Frank, Eli, Steve and George Solock; Sisters: Helen Cad, Mary Pompson and Margaret Echan.

Surviving: wife, Mary Lou Solock, Wartburg; Sons: Pete and Douglas Solock, both of Kingston; Sister, Stella Gurak of Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 20, 2010, from 10 A.M. until time of services at 11 A.M. Schubert Funeral Home Chapel, Wartburg, Tn. with Rev. Stephen Skov officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Deerlodge, TN.
