Christy Koblenz

Christy Koblenz, age 52, passed away May 8, 2026 at her home in Oliver Springs.

She is survived by her sons Andrew (Connor) Turpin, and Alex (Amber) Turpin; mother JoAnn Vann; brothers Bucky Nance, Larry Nance, and Mike Nance; aunt Betty Dyer; grandchildren Kayden Turpin, Braxton Turpin, Braydon Turpin, and Bristal Turpin.

She is preceded in death by her father Irvin Vann; brother Ricky Nance.

Christy passed away peacefully at her home on May 8, 2026. She was a mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister. She loved her sons, and grandchildren deeply, as well as all of her siblings. She enjoyed being at the lake, making people laugh, and joking around with everyone she loved. Christy had a kind heart and shared a special bond with her mother and father. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her.

“If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on now, cause there is too many places I’ve got to see, but if I stay here with you, things just couldn’t be the same. Cause I am as free as a bird now, and this bird you cannot change.”

The family is honoring Christy’s wishes to be cremated. No services have been scheduled at this time.
