David Greene

Bruce David Greene, age 59 of Wartburg passed away peacefully at his home on September 6th 2024. 

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Bruce Greene Sr. and Mary Greene. and Willie and Clyde Hamby, Parents: Rose and Bruce Greene, Daughter Melinda, (Former Wife) Dee Dee Bunch, and a host of other special family members including his uncle Junior Hamby. 

He is survived by Wife, Keela Neal Greene and Daughters: Danielle (Sam) McCartt and Sophia Greene Grandsons: Camden and Colt McCartt. Uncles: James (Janet) Greene, Charles (Joan) Hamby. Aunts: Linda Ridings, Mattie Rhea, Earvie Hamby, Anna (Gideon) Ward and Special Cousin, Richard (Dana) Greene; aunt Florrell Hamby. 

David was a bright individual who had an incredible talent for music. David was formerly a licensed electrician before he became disabled in 1991. In the past, David enjoyed working at Wartburg Speedway, playing in multiple bands, and spending time at Rocky Fork Jamboree with his family and friends. 

In Lieu of Flowers, David's Wishes were to donate in his memory to Ronald McDonald House, East TN Childrens Hospital, or St. Jude's.

The family is honoring David's wishes to be cremated and no services will be scheduled.
