Delores Hamby of Lancing, TN

Delores June Hamby, 73, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Sam Ruben Hamby; mother, Darlene Vincent; father, Don Vincent; step-father, Burton Vincent; siblings, Donna Bradshaw, Alfred and Jamie Vincent.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (David) Garrett, Sylvia Ann Melhorn and Samuel Esau (Amanda) Hamby; grandchildren, Nicholas Wayne (Jessica) Akins, Samantha I.V. (Nathan) Walker, Olivia Shaye Kathryn Melhorn, Jesse Zion Melhorn and Malory Alysse Hamby; great grandchildren, Kennedy Lynn Akins and  soon to arrive, Ruben Everrett Walker; siblings, Don Brickley, Sandra (Robert) Osterhoudt, Colleen (Leland) Hamby, Richard (April) Vincent, Diana Elmore, Jeff Vincent and Ann Smith; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Shirley (Larry) Cole, Sheila (Tommy) Harden, Phillip, Creless, Jerry (Lois) Hamby and Karen Hamby and  sister-in-law, Bridgette Vincent and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Celebration of life will follow at 6:00 with Bro. Tim Hamby officiating.
