Dewey Simpson

Mr. Dewey Simpson, age 66 of Deer Lodge, Tn, passed away Saturday December 12, 2009 at 1:10 P.M. He was a coal miner for 26 years before retiring. He was originally from Harlan, KY and was preceded in death by parents: Henry and Linda Nolan Simpson, brother; Aaron Simpson and sister; Polly Collins.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his loving companion of 17 years; Thelma Pitt.
Sons; Kevin Simpson and Carl Dewey.
Brothers; Hewey and wife Darlene Simpson, Levi Roland Simpson,
Elhanon Simpson.
Sisters; Faye Freeman, Fronie Collette, Analee Brock, Gracie Noe and Heddie Simpson.
A special niece; Wanda Weaver and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday December 14, 2009 from 6 to 8:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright, Tn. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Bro. John Vespie officiating.
Graveside service will be Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Deer Lodge.
