Dixie Lavender, of Deer Lodge, TN

Mrs. Dixie Lavender, age 92, of Deer Lodge passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Pleasant Green Nazarene Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lavender; parents, Calvin and Annie Adams; siblings, Kenneth Adams, Oral Adams, Nina Mae Hall, Beatrice Lavender, Vola England, Gracy Adams and Willie Adams.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Lois) Lavender; granddaughters, Tammy (Jimmy) Lloyd, Jolene (Eddie) Jones all of Deer Lodge; great grandchildren, Brittany Kennedy, Symantha Hammock and Nikki and Mikie Lloyd; great-great grandson, Bentley Kennedy.

Sisters, Faye Howard and Joy Dean Taylor. Brothers, Lewis, Johnny, Donald Adams and Ronnie Kennedy.

also a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with the funeral to follow at 7:00 PM with Bro. L.P. Ford officiating. Graveside will be Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Deer Lodge.
