Donald H. "Mouse" Shadden of Wartburg, TN

Donald H. (Mouse) Shadden, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 after a long illness.   He was local business owner of Village Market and Deli (Mouse's) for over 20 years. Former Central Bulldog football star and record holder and a former Mississippi State Football signee.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Juanita Shadden; aunt and uncle, June (Lawrence) Davis, Howard (Margie) Shadden, Raymond (Evelyn) Shadden and Wilda (Charlie) Daniels.

He is survived by son Trevor (Amanda) Shadden; 3 grandsons, Blake, Bryson and Braden Shadden and their mother Haleigh Shadden. Step granddaughters, Alexis (James) Smith, Savannah Hamby and Keyra Bales; step great-granddaughters, Avyanna Hamby and Zaryah Smith; brother, Charles Shadden; nephews, Damon (Michelle) Shadden, Erik Shadden; niece, Jada (John) Phipps.  Special cousins Larry (Shirley) Davis, Rhonda (Mike) Davis and a host of great nieces and nephews; special friend, Sheriff Wayne Potter.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Carolyn Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Wartburg City Cemetery in Wartburg.
