Lancing

Donnie Harold Williams, born March 22, 1942, in Deer Lodge, Tennessee passed away November 15, 2025 at North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell. He was a born-again Christian and was saved in 1980, something he held so near to his heart. He loved the Lord and was ready to go home to be with Him. He spent two years as a medic in the 101st Airborne Division in the army at Fort Campbell in Clarksville, Tennessee. After the army, he worked in the auto industry for Chrysler and made his home in Xenia, Ohio outside of Dayton. When he returned, he made his career and retired from the Tennessee Department of Corrections as a sergeant. He spent 30 years between Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary and Morgan County Correctional Complex. He was a beloved member of his community in Potters Chapel. He enjoyed tending to his cows, hunting, and making the annual hunting trip to Colorado with his brothers, fishing, gardening and above all, spending time with those he loved the most. He spent his life taking care of others and did so until his last day.
