Doris Armes

Mrs. Doris Virginia Armes age 85 of Wartburg, went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2012 at her home. She was a homemaker her whole life and enjoyed reading and working puzzles. Before she got sick she enjoyed working outside and going to church at Liberty Baptist Church where she was a member for 54 years. She is preceded in death by her Husband: Weldon, Sons: Larry (Spook), Jack, Terry, Dennis & Donald. Parents: Ed & Sue Hart. Brothers: Carlton, & Junior.

She is survived by Son: Brett Armes & Mindy of Wartburg.

Grandkids: Cheri Armes, Lisa Armes, Stacey & Larry (Skooter) Armes Jr., Tina (Mike) Fritts, Angie (Jeremy) Brewster, Melissa (Doug) Sise, Amanda (Joe-Dan) Taylor, Melinda (Paul) Hester, Jackie Armes Jr., Donnie (Robin) Braden, Travis Armes, Samantha (Clay) Seiber, & Carissa Armes.

Also surviving are 31 great grandkids, 5 great-great grandkids

Also surviving are friends and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives

The family will receive friends Monday, December 17, 2012, from 6-8 pm, Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 2 pm at Liberty Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Frick officiating, interment will follow in the church cemetery.
