Doris Northrup of Sunbright

Doris Lillian Northrup, age 85, of Sunbright passed away on July 6, 2023.  She was born to the late Thomas and Hattie Hamby on February 28, 1938.

She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Northrup; siblings Earnest “Bud” Hamby, William “Dodger” Hamby, Clifford Hamby, Clifton Hamby, Memford “Lynn” Hamby, Linda Smith, Helen Northrup; grandson Thomas “Tommy” Northrup and great grandchildren Bryson Hawn and Riley Evans.

She leaves behind her children Lois (Gary) Hawn, William (Carla) Northrup and Genia (Roger) Brown, grandchildren Sherry (Brad) Jones, Jason Hawn, Charlotte Hawn, Tiffany (Scott) Jackson, Tonya Freels, Lucas Northrup, Cassie Byram, Megan (Wayne) Mitchell, Amanda (Brandon) Evans, Hope (Jordan) Hamby, and Joshua; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Pallbearers – Lucas, Devin, Noah, Jaxson, Ethan and Ehren.  

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Ethan Northrup officiating. Interment will follow in the Plesant Ridge Cemetery in Sunbright.
