Elizabeth Barger

Mrs. Elizabeth Mae Barger age 73 of Wartburg, passed away Sunday December 26, 2010 at Methodist Medical Oak Ridge after a long battle with cancer. She was a member of Lancing Presbyterian Church for over 50 years.
She was employed at Burlington Industries and Red Kap Industries all of her working career.
She was preceded in death parents; Boyd E. Vespie and Edna Mae Vespie.
Brothers; Louis (Sonny) Vespie, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Noble and Ruth Barger, sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Nola and Bill Adkins.

Elizabeth is survived by husband of 50 years; Charles D. Barger.
Sister; Mildred Nance and husband Allan of Lancing,
Brother; Jimmy Vespie and wife Linda of Oakdale, TN
Nephew Derek Vespie of Oakdale, TN
niece; Peggy Williams and Husband Phil and son Jackson
Brothers-in-law; Carl and Ben Barger of Perry, GA
Henry Barger and wife Barbara of Rockwood, TN
Sisters-in-law; Mildred Morton and husband Jack of Harriman, TN
Martha Keylon and husband Ted of of Kingston, TN
Joyce Osborne and husband Charles of Columbus, GA
A host of nieces and nephews and extended family also survive.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Carolyn Anderson officiating.
Graveside service will be Wednesday11:00 a.m. in the Forrestner Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
