Elizabeth "Marie" Kennedy, of Sunbright, TN

Mrs. Elizabeth “Marie” Kennedy, age 70 of Sunbright, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Tennova West, after a short illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Moses and Johanna Herbert; brother, Walter “Pat” Brown; and son, Winston Kennedy Jr.

She is survived by her children: James Kennedy of Hartsville, TN; Juanita Kennedy of Sunbright; and Tammy and (B.J.) Brown of Sunbright. Brothers: Joe Herbert of New Jersey, Ted (Rita) Herbert of New Jersey, and William (Kathy) Brown of Chestnut Ridge. Sister, Rose Reid of New York. Grandchildren: Saraya Neal of Sunbright; Gracie Kennedy of Kingston; Brandon Brown of Sunbright; Stevan Walker of Kingston; and Darryn (Tiffany) Walker of Sunbright. Special friends: Steve and Rita Gadd, Susan Tucker, Mary Harris, and Nicole Spencer. Also a host of special nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Steve Gadd officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillview Church Cemetery, in the Chestnut Ridge community.
