Elmer Phillips

Elmer Phillips, age 58, of Sunbright, went to his heavenly home April 29, 2026, at his home. He was born April 18, 1968.

He is preceded in death by his father Reno Phillilps; brothers Robert, Jessie, Charles (Duke) and Eddie Phillips; sister-in-law Robin Phillilps and brother-in-law Paul Jones. Grandfather Johnny Hummel and grandmother Pearl Kelly.

Elmer is survived by his mother Wilma Phillips; sisters Betty Jones, Brenda Phillips, and Wilma (Joe) Higgins; sister-in-law Lori Phillips; brothers Jimmy Phillips, Reno Jr. (Brandy) Phillips and Randy (Cindy) Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Elmer loved working outside and making bird houses and many other things out of wood.

The family will receive friends Monday, May 4, 2026 at Schubert Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. David Dial officiating. Interment will follow in the Byrd Cemetery in Sunbright.
