Genia Brown, age 60, of Sunbright passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at her home.
She is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Doris Northrup; granddaughter Riley Paige Evans; mother-in-law Wilma Brown.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Roger L. Brown, Jr.; son Joshua Brown; daughters Amanda (Brandon) Evans and Hope (Jordan) Hamby; grandchildren Mackenzie Crowley, Bailey, Tinley, Bentley Evans, , Emerson, and Hudson Hamby; brother William (Carla) Northrup; sister Lois (Gary) Hawn and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 20, 2024 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Charles Northrup and Bro. Ethan Northrup officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Sunbright City Cemetery.
