Gennevvive Garrett

Mrs. Gennevvive Carter Garrett, age 88 of Wartburg, went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2010. She was an active member of Petros Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by two sons: Roe C. and Linda Garrett of Caryville, and James T. and Pat Garrett of Morristown; one daughter, Mary E. and James Ledford of Deer Lodge; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; seven great, great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law: Billy Fugate, Eloise Lee, and Wanda White; and by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 22, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Bro. Stewart Slone officiating. A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Elizabeth Cemetery.
