George Ellis

George William Ellis age 66, formerly of Wartburg, passed away, Friday September 5, 2014 at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and also retired from the State of Tennessee Department of Corrections. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Dollie Ellis, and step-daughter; Tracie Boshears.

Surviving is his wife Shirley Day Ellis of Decatur
Grandson: Braden Boshears of Decatur
Sister Edith & Rick Johnson of Wartburg
Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5-8 pm at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg, TN. Interment will be announced at a later date.
