George Walker, of Sunbright, TN

George W. Walker age 79, of Sunbright passed away March 1, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Marie Walker; brothers, Lee Jr., Bud and Reed Walker; sisters, Nellie Hall Summers and Nina Narhi.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Joan Walker; children, Lee Walker and Kenny Walker; grandchildren, Lee Walker Jr., Jennifer Thomas and Kelsey Walker; great granddaughter, Gracie Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Sunbright from 2:00-4:00 with the funeral to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Edward Walker officiating.  Interment will follow in the Byrd Cemetery in Sunbright.
