Gerald Reynolds, of Lancing

Gerald (Jerry) Reynolds, age 35 of Lancing passed away on Wednesday August 2, 2023. 

Jerry adored his children with his whole heart and soul. He loved his family, fishing, and music. Jerry was a roofer by trade in which he learned from his beloved stepfather, Randy Holt. He was very talented and always worked hard to provide for his family. He had a way of making people around him feel loved and safe and always kept us smiling. He had a great sense of humor and was always picking and joking around with his brothers and friends. Jerry was a protector, always looking out for those he loved the most. 

He is survived by his children; Ethan Reynolds, Ashton Reynolds, Colton Reynolds and Victoria Holt; parents Valerie Holt & Jerry D. Reynolds;

siblings Beau Reynolds, Charles Reynolds, Robert Burges, James Reynolds, Cindi Reynolds, & Skyler Reynolds; nephews Bryce Burges, Jayden Reynolds, Taylor Reynolds & nieces Destiny Burges, Jazmyn Reynolds along with a host of friends, cousins and other relatives. 

The family will receive friends Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 12:00-1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m.  Gerald’s wishes were to be cremated.
