Glena Mae Hamby Taylor Nelson, age 90, of Wartburg, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Life Care Center of Morgan County.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Nelson; parents Albert and Etta Hamby; sisters Martha Ellen Hamby and Mary Kay Nelson; brothers Ronnie Hamby and Roy Hamby.
She is survived by daughters Darlene Jones and Regina Davis; sisters Louise Wilkes, Rita Leaf, Joyce Roach, and brother Don Hamby. Grandchildren: Jennifer (Jeremy) Ridge, Kristen (Matt) Justice, Jessica (Andy) Moehl, and Andrew Davis. Great-grandchildren: Addison and Maverick Davis, Rosalyn and Vivian Justice, Walker and Elliot Ridge and Heidi and Jill Moehl.
The family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Morgan County for their loving care.
The family will have a graveside service Friday, August 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Elizabeth Cemetery with Frank Kirby officiating.
