Ilon Louise Ward

Ilon Louise Weller Ward, age 89, of Philadelphia passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Emily Kelley; husband Troy Ward and Preston Weller; son Darrel Ward; brothers David Kelley, Tom Kelley and sister, Gloria McNish.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Nix of Philadelphia; 2 grandsons Tyler (Kayla) Nix of Sweetwater, Taylor (Abby) Nix of Philadelphia; 3 great grandsons Silas, Elias, and Weston Nix; sister Sue Jones of Joyner; 4 sisters-in-law Loudevene Bowles and Cricket Human of Wartburg and Helen and Charlotte of Dayton, TN; several nieces and nephews; special cousin Phyllis Bivens and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 4:00-6:00 p.m. with the funeral at 6:00 p.m. with Brother Clayton Taylor officiating. Graveside services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Petros Cemetery in Petros.
