Italy Durham

Mrs. Italy (Bunch) Durham, 86 of Oliver Springs, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born April 17, 1923 in Fork Mountain. She was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church of Fork Mountain. She greatly enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. "Aunt Italy" was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Durham was preceded in death by her parents: Agee and Bessie Bunch; husband, Dewey Durham; and sisters: Marie (Ed) Overton; Elsie (Joe) Daugherty; and Oma (Anderson) Armes.

She is survived by her only brother: Kenneth A. Bunch of Petros; other survivors include her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, who were like her own children; and dear friend, A.K. and Mildred Silvey.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 27th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Braden officiating. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Indian Creek Cemetery, Oliver Springs.
