James Taylor

Mr. James Taylor, Also known as Huston went home to be with the Lord on June 19, 2009, at his home in Deer Lodge, while surrounded by his wife, Joydean (Adams) and many family members. He was a member of Chestnut Ridge Community Chapel. Mr. Taylor had a great gift and love for music.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Lydia and William Taylor; children: son, baby James and daughter, Jeannie; son-in-law, Leo; daughter-in-law, Cindy; and two grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joydean; daughters: Justine, Jesselyn, and Anna of Deer Lodge; sons: Jerry, Jeff and wife, Sherri of Morgan County; sons: Joe and wife, Colleen and John and wife, Tish of Michigan; son, David and daughter, Rose of North Carolina, and daughter, Lisa Anderson and husband, Dennis of Knoxville; 29 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren, 5 great, great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, June 21st, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Bro. Ronnie Wilson officiating.
A graveside service will be held Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Adams Hill Church Cemetery, Deer Lodge.
