James H. Garrett of Wartburg, TN

James Henry Garrett born on February 28, 1939 in Gobey, TN passed away on August 27, 2017 at 11:50 p.m. in Wartburg, TN.

He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Wartburg and a member of the Mason Lodge #377 in Wartburg and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Bessie Garrett; sister, June Landrum and  brother, David Lynn Garrett.

He is survived by Karen Garrett; daughter, Sandra and husband, Bill Lane; son, Shane Garrett and Brandon Garrett; grandchildren, Lacey and husband, Dustin King, Larry James Garrett, Kailyn Garrett, Aleila Garrett, Brandon Jr. Garrett, Tristan Garrett,  Renee and husband, David Landrum and Shelly Lane; great grandchildren, Peyton and Preston King and Will and Wyatt Landrum; father-in-law, Junior Phillips.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro Terry Stallard and Dr. Paul Frick officiating. Graveside will be Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Gobey, TN. with Military Honors.
