Jason Alexander Trask aka "Jason Wilder Marrs"

Jason "Jase" Trask, the son of Shawn Daniel Trask and Joyce Shirley Trask, was born on October 11, 1993, in Chattanooga (East Ridge), Tennessee, and died on April 14, 2025. Jason, a gregarious child from birth, would wander off to visit other people's tables in restaurants and routinely engaged strangers in conversation. Jase graduated from Chattanooga Center for Creative Arts and obtained his Associates Degree from Chattanooga State Community College. Jason was excited about the Word of God, and understood that the honor and glory of God was the purpose of all things. Jason felt God wanted him to attend seminary, though he did not feel called to preach. Jase was one semester shy of receiving his bachelor's degree in Business Leadership from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Jason preferred to be surrounded by people, enjoyed a friendly debate, and was fascinated by psychology. Jase loved hiking, biking, skateboarding, longboarding, bouldering, rock climbing, ping pong, billiards, pickleball, foosball, and almost any game, any time - Jason was all-in and went all-out.

Jason died holding John 6:37-44, which begins, "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out."

Jason is survived by his mother, Joyce Trask, his father, Shawn Trask (Robyn), his brother Daniel Trask, and many, many cousins and loved ones.

Jason was laid to rest on April 19, 2025 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Chattanooga, TN.
