Jessica Gibson

Jessica Yvonne Gibson, age 42, went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2025. She was a member of A New Beginning Church in Lancing. She loved to draw, and loved her family and friends deeply.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Pearl Gibson of West Virgina.

She is survived by her father, Jerry (Robin) Gibson of Lancing; mother, Carla Blake of West Virgina; sons, Brandon and Michael Potter of Lancing; sister, CeCilia Swint of Lancing; brother, J.B. Gibson of Lancing; step-brothers, Tony (Erica) Taylor of Petros and Shane Taylor of Lancing; nieces, Aleeyiah and Skylah Taylor and nephew, Noah Taylor; special friend, Michelle Ferrell of Lancing; and a host of cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends Friday August 8, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Island Ford Church in Lancing with the funeral to follow at 12:00, her father Jerry Gibson officiating. Interment will immediately follow at the Island Ford Cemetery.
