John Anthony Cox

John Anthony Cox, age 28, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025.

John Anthony was a kind, passionate, and loving father to his daughter MJ. He loved music, and music was his life.

He is preceded in death by his son Negan Cox; grandparents Helen and Bobby Cox and grandmother Sandra Perdue.

He is survived by his daughter Adrianna “MJ” Cox; parents William “Bill” and Kristen Cox; brothers Cody Coffman and Robert Cox; sister Ashley Cox; mother of his child Hailey Shillings and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 9, 2025 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 3:00-5:00 p.m.  Graveside services will follow in the Cox Family Cemetery in Mossy Grove.
