Judith Yeary Gibson

Judith Eveline Yeary Gibson went to her Heavenly home on Thursday May 14, 2026. Her long battle with Parkinson’s disease is over and she can now walk again. She loved her family with all her heart. Her face would light up at the sight of her grandchildren. She loved being outside and loved flowers and feeding her birds. She worked many long years at Advance Transformer in Wartburg where she went on to retire. She will be greatly missed by all of her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by spouse, James Gibson; parents, Andy and Ethel Yeary; sister, Jacqueline Brown and her brothers Eddie Yeary, Glenn Yeary and Franklin Yeary.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Donnie Daugherty; step son, Tony Gibson; grandchildren: Steven Daugherty, Heather (James) Beck and Andy (Bryanna) Daugherty; great-grandchildren: Trenton Daugherty, Chloe (Larome) Wright, Chase Wilson, Olivia Neece and Ava Daugherty and one great-great-grandson, Parker Daugherty. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Schubert Funeral Home from 9:00-10:00 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
