Judy Childress of Wartburg, TN

Judy Childress 67, from Wartburg passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William A. & Audrey H. Christian; daughter, Rebeccah Childress Phillips; brother, Benny Hensley.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Childress; daughter, Jennifer Childress; grandchildren, Morgan Adams, Jessica Andrews, Nikole Hamby, Audrey Phillips and Acelynn Phillips; great grandchildren, Bentley Gentry and Willow Hamby; brother, Billy (Connie) Christian of Hurley, VA, Joseph (Karen) Christian of Vansant, VA, Gene (Gerry) Christian of Abington, VA, Dean (Claire) Christian of Lancing, Tn.; sister, Ruthie (Joey) Thomas of Great Falls, S.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 10, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Rick Taylor officiating. Graveside service will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson Memorial Gardens.
