Keith Adkisson, of Petros, TN

Keith Adkisson, age 62 of Petros, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at Methodist Medical, Oak Ridge, TN.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nella “Lou” Adkisson and brother, Jerry “Jug” Adkisson.

He retired from Brushy Mountain Prison after 40 years of service. Keith was greatly loved by his family and he enjoyed spending time with his brothers during holidays and special occasions.

He is survived by his wife, Etta Adkisson; brothers: Terry “Saw” (Patti) Adkisson, Gregory “Snake” (Janet) Adkisson, and Brad (Veronica) Adkisson; sisters: Vicki (Sam) Williams and  Michelle Jones; aunt, Lana (Gerald) Taylor; nieces and nephews: Lee, Chelsea, Forrest and Luke Adkisson, Ashley Howard, and Brian and Tyler Williams; and great nieces and nephews: Lillie, Cameron, and Shepard Adkisson.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 3rd, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg, TN. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Jim West officiating. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 4th at 11 A.M. in the Old Petros Cemetery.
