Kenneth Goodman

Kenneth Lee Goodman 70, of New River passed away peacefully at home with his wife, children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law and sons-in-law on Monday, February 22, 2010. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church; he was a coalminer for many years. He enjoyed flea markets, coon hunting, working with weedeaters and lawn mowers and spending time with family.
Until they meet again he left behind his loving wife Della Bernice Lowe Goodman of 46 years. Son Jeffery Lee Goodman and wife Tammy of Lancing, TN. Daughters Lisa Kay Braden and husband Duke of Deer Lodge, TN. Loretta Lynn Webber and husband David of Harriman, TN.
Kenneth also left behind six grandchildren; Ryan Edward Jones, Kenneth Tyler Goodman, Leah Marie Jones, Felicia Brooke Webber, Bethany Renee Goodman and Brandon Robert Lee Goodman. Brother Arnold Goodman and wife Lou Ann of New River.
Sisters: Nicey Goodman Bunch of Clinton, Fredia Goodman Carroll and husband Willie of New River and a host of extended family and special friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his dad and mom Finely and Oshia Goodman,
Brothers: Elmer, Everett, Fred, Willie, Early, Johnnie and Delmus Goodman,
Sisters: Cynthia Goodman Jeffers and Claudia Goodman McDonald,
special Brother-in-law; Cledyth "Jack" Bunch.

The Family will receive visitation at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg on Wednesday February 24, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m.
The funeral will be at Shiloh Baptist Church in New River at 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 25, 2010 with Rev. Bill Goodman and Rev. Gary Armes officiating the funeral. Kenneth will be buried at the Phillips cemetery in New River.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love & support and most of all their prayers.
And thanks also to Schubert Funeral Home and Covenant Hospice & Joann Spurling.
Kenneth's last request is for his children and grandchildren to live for the Lord.
