Kenneth Rains, of Wartburg, TN

Kenneth Rains, age 84, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was a devoted and loving husband, father and Papaw.

He is preceded in death by his son, Kenny Rains; father, Leander Rains; mother, Nerva Rains and brother, Lawrence Rains.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eula Jean Rains; son, Ronnie Rains; granddaughters, Jana (Matthew) Howard of Wartburg, Addie (Jason) Roberts of Ten Mile; grandson, Austin Rains of Knoxville; great grandsons, Clayton Howard, Caleb Howard; great granddaughter, Hattie Roberts; daughter-in-law, Frances Rains.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with a Masonic service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Jim West officiating. Interment will follow in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood with Military Honors.
