Kevin Ruppe

Kevin Ruppe, age 58 of Oakdale, passed into eternity Thursday July 3rd, 2025, after a tough battle with cancer. Kevin was saved on Father’s Day 2008 and a member of Mt. Vernal Baptist Church. He left a lasting legacy of God’s ability to correct course. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, was the owner of Ruppe Guttering for many years and had a passion for riding his Harley and driving his Jeep.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Wayne “Alex” Ruppe.

Kevin leaves behind his parents, Raymond and Trula Ruppe of Oakdale; children: Dustin Ruppe, Devin Ruppe, and Destiny Ruppe, all of Oakdale; the mothers of his children: Dawn Vanattan of Pheonix, AZ and Venessa Ruppe of Rockwood; brother, Kerry (Jennifer) Ruppe of Oakdale. Kevin was affectionately loved by his nieces: Valerie Disney, Rachel Ruppe, and Melanie Miller; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday July 6th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Vernal Baptist Church in Rockwood, the funeral to follow at 3:00 with Bro. Kerry Ruppe, Bro. Derrick Stewart, and Bro. Jamie Nelson officiating. The graveside service will immediately follow in the Mt. Vernal Cemetery.
