Larry Vespie

Mr. Larry Nathan Vespie, age 65 of Lancing, TN, born September 2, 1944, went home to be with the Lord on January 22, 2010, after a long illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Potter Vespie; father, Henry Vespie; son, Kenneth Nathan Vespie; step son, Brian Nelson; brother, Charles Henry Vespie; sister, Nettalie Hood; and brothers-in-law: Barney Hood and Kelly Brewer.
He is survived by wife, Wanda Rose Vespie; daughter, Tammy Smith; son, Danny Vespie; step son, Nathan Nelson; step daughter, Stephanie Hamby; sister, Geneva Brewer; sisters-in-law: Carol Vespie, Tammie Willis (Tim), Karen Vespie, Patty Nance, Missy Wyatt (Shane); brother-in-law, Jerry Rose; father and mother-in-law: Gene and Ann Rose; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and one Uncle Charles Potter.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 24, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Durham officiating. Interment will follow in the Kubley Cemetery, Lancing
