Lawrence "Julio" Valdivia

Lawrence “Julio” Valdivia, age 60 of Knoxville passed away peacefully at home Monday, September 14, 2026.

He was an avid Nascar fan with Jeff Gordan as his favorite driver. He was a collector of almost everything but especially Hot Wheels! Recently he built a mancave to showcase his collection. Also, he was into RC drift cars and enjoyed racing them at Hobbytown. He worked construction, specifically as a concrete finisher.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Shirley Valdivia; and brother Richard.

He is survived by his wife Linda Valdivia; son Anthony Valdivia; sisters Ann, Theresa (Jim), Gloria (Bill); brother Dennis (Pam); sister-in-law and brother-in-law Debbie and Terry Smith and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 21, 2026 at Schubert Funeral Home from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow in the Nelson Cemetery.
