Leona Humphrey

Mrs. Leona Rose Humphrey, age 64 of Wartburg, received her new body on January 21, 2012. She was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. Preceding her death she was cared for by an outstanding group of nurses on the 5th floor of Methodist Medical Center. Leona was preceded in death by her mother Ruby Laymance, father Russell Laymance and brother Leland Laymance all of Wartburg, TN.

She is survived by her Daughters: Melissa Collins and Renea Smith both of Wartburg
Son: David Humphreys of Harriman
Brother: Leon Laymance of Midtown
Sister: Lillian Wilson of Wartburg
She was loved dearly by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday January 23 from 6 to 8 PM Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg with funeral services at 8 PM with Rev. Ralph Nance and Bro. Bobby Stewart officiating. Visitation will also be held Tuesday from 12 to 1 PM at Meadowview Baptist Church, Wartburg. Graveside services will follow at Liberty Church Cemetery, Wartburg, TN.
