Leta GARRETT

Mrs. Leta Marie Garrett, age 60 of Lancing, went to be with the Lord early Monday, December 27, 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great, grandmother. She was loved dearly by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father: Lee and Annie Stedam; brother, Gordon Leroy Stedam; sister, Lela Stedam; daughter, Amber Marie Taylor; and step-son, Gregory Garrett.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy " Dairl" Garrett; daughters and sons-in-law: Melinda and William "Bill" Garrett of Lancing and Heather and David Hall of Deer Lodge; sons and daughters-in-law: Ronnie and Alicia Taylor of Lancing, and Terry and Amy Taylor of Crossville; Grandkids: Christy Taylor, Emma Hawn, Albert Jones, Trenton Jones, Jessie Jones, Joshua Taylor, Madison Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Jerrica Taylor, Gavin Taylor, Emma Taylor, Seth Gray, and Breanna Gray; great-grandkids: Serenity Shillings, William "Bubba" Shillings Jr., and William Hawn; brothers and sisters: Leslie, Edward, Teddy, Rex, Steve, Keith, Kathy, Milly, Teresa, Jan, Lou, Michelle, and Kim Stedam; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Jeff Dyer officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Hill View Baptist Church Cemetery.
