Lettie Lorine Anderson

Lettie "Lorine" Anderson of Coalfield passed away peacefully, in her home surrounded by her husband, sons and her brother.

Lorine had resigned from Y-12 Federal Credit Union upon her diagnosis where she made many family-like-friends and was an active member of Caney Branch Baptist Church. She loved her family and church family fiercely. Lorine was diagnosed with Stage 4-Pancreatic Cancer 3 years ago and went to battle without losing her precious smile, willingness to lend a hand, and most importantly, without losing or questioning her faith. Her diagnosis did not win but she has won, the ultimate gift of being healed with a new body with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Mae (West) Carroll; brother Michael Carroll and sister Carolyn Carroll; nephew, Devin Allen and great niece, Alexis Allen.

Lorine is survived by her husband of 34 years, Rodney Anderson; sons, Darren (Samantha) Anderson and Isaiah Anderson; grandchildren: Madilyn, Mackenzie, and MaKenna Anderson; brother Richard (Hazel) Carroll; sisters-in-law: Michelle (Billy) Young, Kim (Tom) Borders, Darla Earls, and Brother-in-law Robert Anderson; along with a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to thank her wonderful support systems, Niece/In-Home nurse Katie Carroll who worked tirelessly throughout her battle advocating for the better good of Lorine, Dr. Repine at Thompson Oncology, staff, and friend/nurse Natalie Garcia, Sarah Cannon Research Hospital, as well as Amedysis Hospice for their dedication and commitment to her health and comfort.

The family will receive friends Monday January 19, 2026 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with the funeral to immediately follow at 7:00, Bro. James Briggs officiating. The graveside service will be on Thursday January 22 at 11:00 at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN.
